At St. Joseph Catholic School, we believe that strengthening the body is essential to the development of the whole person. We offer a variety of athletic and extracurricular activities at all levels. At the nursery, children have the opportunity to participate in Stretch-n-Grow, outdoor play, gymnastics, and dance. At the elementary level, activities include sports, special events, Christian Service Club, scouting, and choir as well as numerous enrichment clubs.

St. Joseph Catholic School provides a solid, faith-based education that is open to children of all religions. Re­ligious instruction is provided daily, and students in K-12 attend Mass twice weekly. But sharing and exploring our Christian faith is not confined to the chapel or the theology classroom. Seeing God’s hand in all areas of study, be it science, social studies, math or music, is part of the daily experience for teachers and students at St. Joseph School. In addition, students and their parents are encouraged to participate in a variety of activi­ties that promote and encourage the values of respect, responsibility, and service. The student service pro­gram, a requirement for graduation, further instills the value of student leadership.

Beginning as a small parochial school serving the immigrant families of the Brazos Valley, St. Joseph Catholic School System has become a solid choice for quality, faith-based education. With enrollment approaching 700, St. Joseph is committed to maintaining high academic and athletic standards while offering the best blend of opportunities and individual attention.
